The electric bike allows me to go uphill downhill very easily because it has a gear system which is very easy to access at my handlebar.

When I want to get a good workout, I can just pedal just like a normal bicycle. because I’m a novice riding bicycles it’s definitely the tag pass system which the ease of trails has and it allows me with just a flick of a wrist access the battery pack and it pretty much works like a scooter. it just goes on its own and they can it goes as fast as 50 miles per hour or even more, so it’s very handy for somebody that’s starting out like me, because I can just begin to pedal.

These heavier sealed lead-acid batteries don’t last as long you don’t get as many charge cycles out of them.

The another really cool feature about Currie EZip Trailz Men’s 450-watt Electric Bike is the ease of trails. I can very easily charge up the battery pack in case, it needs a little extra boost, the charge goes an average of about 15 miles, with the battery pack I can just stand it up somewhere against a wall just whenever there’s a plug-in available.

The 24-volt rechargeable battery is a little bit weaker but they Currie Electro Drive system is pretty powerful with 450 watt chain drive motor¬† so again compared to some of the other electric bikes that actually have a hub motor, it’s bit lower but you can still power the bike and you don’t have to pedal if you don’t want to. You can replace the batteries fairly inexpensively and you can actually upgrade them to lithium if you want.

The rest of the bike is pretty standard you’ve got a shock, and a V-brake. This bike don’t have disc brakes which is a bit of a bummer because the bike is pretty heavy, but overall it performs pretty well when you’re riding.

Sometimes I notice that the front can be a little bit wobbly, again just because of all the weight there but I like the fact that they’ve been making this bike for a long time and they’ve got things like chain guide, it’s just plastic but that ensures that your chain doesn’t flop off which can happen on some other electric bikes.

Currie EZip Trailz Men’s 450-watt Electric Bike is very comfortable to use and they feel very safe to go for long or short distances. I can go to the beach, ride to home, right to work or even right to school or ride with friends, pretty much this bike allows me to do it all.

You can also have two batteries and there’s a switch back that lets you switch between first battery or the second battery, and that’s kind of a neat feature. So you know you can pull those off pretty easily for charging, overall this bike works kind of as it should.

The components are good enough for what you’re paying, which is significantly less than than most electric bikes out there.¬† This bike will fits your budget, it’s a good way to start with electric bikes.

I think my biggest complaint about ezip 450 is that not only is it heavy but all of the weight is in the back. The motor that’s fairly heavy, all the controllers and circuits and everything are right in one place, and then you’ve got the battery packs and when you lift this thing up the front lifts up very well but the back just doesn’t so keep that in mind especially if you live upstairs.
